‘Sex Trafficking: A Closer Look’ event sponsored by Cru and Voice for the Captives
January 26, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
We, Danny Luecke (Cru staff and member of Calvary Church at Village Green), Lola Adebimpe (attendee of Ignite Church and Cru staff), Lisa Hanson (works at Atonement Lutheran church and founder of local anti-human trafficking organization Voice for the Captives.) and Danielle John (sex trafficked survivor) have been so compelled by the power of the gospel that we felt that we should write specifically to you!
We felt that we have all reached a point in our lives where we have realized that all the work that He had done in our lives and in the lives of the church itself is not the end point, but rather the beginning! We have entered into our destiny as rescuers (after being rescued) and we would love for the church to partner with us, to invite the church to be a part of not only loosening the bonds of people’s spiritual brokenness, but to join us as we help loosen the bonds of people’s emotional and physical bondage specifically in local human trafficking.
Tuesday, January 26th at 6:30pm at NDSU Reinecke Fine Arts Center, local trafficking survivor Danielle John will be sharing her life story and experiences.
We would love for your church especially to attend this as we believe the church can get involved in a mighty way and will have an opportunity to do so. The event will also be promoted through WDAY and KVRR.
