Atonement’s Day of Bread

Crisp, cool weather calls for a warm cup of soup. Join Atonement on Thursday, November 12 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. to enjoy your cup(s) of soup with us! It’s our annual event – it brings in quite the crowd and over 50 crock pots of home made, delicious soups. Bread is donated to us by Great Harvest Bread Company.
We all eat a simple meal together to remember that we live in abundance, which isn’t available everyone. Every day, there are people that don’t have meals available.
All proceeds from the Day of Bread go to various non-profit agencies that feed others: The Salvation Army, The Dorothy Day House, Churches United for the Homeless, The Great Plains Food Bank, and the YWCA.
All are welcome – come to the Ark and come hungry!

100% of the proceeds from Day of Bread will go directly to local
agencies that work to alleviate hunger in our Fargo-Moorhead Community.
Last year each of five hunger agencies received over $500 apiece.

The Fall Bazaar will occur in the Fireside Room. The proceeds from last year funded some camperships (camp scholarships) for kids at summer camps, and also purchased some much needed kitchen items for Atonement’s two kitchens.
